Drovers Trek to Skye

This charming trek explores the heart of the Scottish Highlands. The first 2 days skirt the edge of Rannoch Moor by the time-honoured paths used by drovers. Then on through Glen Affric that most romantic of highland glens leading us to the sea at Kintail. The final leg of our Highland Journey takes us to the old ferry at Glenelg and so over to the Isle of Skye. The route passes through wonderful remote highland scenery and takes us off the beaten track.

Paths and tracks, some rough at times, with some unpathed terrain. Daily distances vary from 8-13 miles (13-21 km) and ascents of 1000-2000 feet (300-600 m). Includes 6 nights' Hostel accommodation and full board, and 6 days walking with fully-qualified leader.
